RIICCM303 CONDUCT VACUUM EXCAVATIONS

Job summary:

This competency describes the role of operational employees responsible for conducting vacuum excavations, while working in civil construction.

Participants:

The target participants for this course are people that are currently working in the civil construction industry and wish to formalise their workplace competency,  develop competency, or upgrade their skills.

Entry Requirements:

There are no prerequisite requirements to enter this program.

Learners will require employment in a role where competency development is available to support the delivery and successful completion of this program.

Delivery:

Delivery will be face to face with competency development in conjunction with your employer at the worksite.  One on one support is provided to all participants.

Duration:

Training components will be delivered in less than a day, for existing workers.  Time frames for skills development before final assessment will vary according to factors, such as previous experience  (both civil construction and vacuum excavation) and opportunity to develop skill.

Recognition of Prior Learning:

Recognition of prior learning is offered to all prospective participants.

Subject (Unit of competency):

RIICCM303 Conduct vacuum excavations  is a nationally accredited unit of competency and is delivered and assessed to the standards of the National VET Quality Framework.

Participants who successfully complete this unit of competency will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
